Making Money in the Open Market

Wonder how some players get to become Millionaires, Billionaires, and Zillionaires and stop worrying about the cost of items and consumables in-game?
Open Market!

BUYING:

  • Click on your TRADE button (bottom-right of your screen) and you'll find a HUGE list of shops (top 100 will be displayed at any time). You can browse by shop, or by item, using the sorting tabs on the left column.

  • Each shop display will list the item's icon, with a mouse-over tooltip, as well as item level and price in gold or cash points.
  • MAKE SURE TO CHECK ON THE STATS BEFORE PURCHASE so you know what stats you are getting. (E.g. a high INT or high MATK hood for Magicians will be worth more than AGI or STR if you are reselling.)
  • You can choose to buy and sell items using cash points (below) if you choose.
* Please be aware that consumables are shown according to price per piece. If you see 999 souls for 5 silvers, they are 5 silvers EACH. You can choose to buy the exact number of souls you want, as when purchasing items from NPCs.

SELLING:
  • To set up your own shop, simply click on MY SHOP (bottom center of your shop interface, top-picture). You will be shown your brand-new, empty little shop with 5 item slots.
  • Click SELL ITEM and you will be shown a window to drag and drop the item you want to trade. Set a price, either in gold or cash points, and proceed to add more items, or click OPEN SHOP.
  • Equipment will be sold individually, but consumables and miscellaneous items can be stacked for sale.
  • Shops are only accessible from Towns, and will stay online only while your character is online. If you switch channel or log out, you will need to re-open your shop.
  • To edit, add or change features in your shop, you need to click the LUNCHTIME! button to close your shop first.
  • *Please note that cash items cannot be sold in the Trade Market.

HELPFUL STUFF:

Here are a few items that are indispensible:

Shop Licenses:
  • These come in 2 grades and will extend the off-line time and number of item slots in your shop. If you have to log out, this will keep your shop online and active.
  • Click Lunchtime! and then the Extend Time button to use a license.
  • To upgrade your shop from Regular to Superior or to Premium, you must have the corresponding scrolls first. Then click on the category, below, to switch to a higher-grade shop.
  • Premium shops will always appear before Superior shops, and Superior shops before Regular ones in the shop listing.

Grand Merchant Certificates:
  • So you got a premium shop. But how to raise yourself above the other 50 Premium shops? Grand Merchant Certificates add Fame Rating to your personal shop and will list it higher than another merchant with lower Fame.

Special Note: Any item you put up for sale will automatically be ranked over those with lower shop points and grade when a buyer searches for a specific item.

Playmax 2009

This past weekend (12-13 June 2009), thousands of youths visited Playmax 2009 at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Singapore.

Tucked away from the live shows, food fair, and student performances at the mini open-air amphitheater, was one air-conditioned reprieve from the balmy Singapore heat; Cybermax.

And what is that crowd staring at??

Dragonica!

All visitors walked away with a free game client and an attached coupon code for Remedy Pots.
(And yes, girls play Dragonica.)
