Last week, while harassing Starfish and Crabby Crabs at Martini Coast, I received a message from one of the Constellas that a previously-forbidden portal, Magmus (beyond the Level 40-50 Selpiad Instance maps) had been unlocked.

"WHAT???!! ZOMG."
I sent a message down the grapevine to Hysteria the Paladin, who promptly requested a party raid. (Currently, the max number of party members is 4, but we're requesting for the number to be raised so that you can go in with bigger parties to face off against stronger bosses.)
It took about 10mins to round up a party of willing adventurers with more guts than brains. We had one Battlemage, one Archer, one Knight, and one Paladin.

Objective: Attack the exposed dragon heart in the center of the cave. And try to avoid Sudden Death.
So how did we fare?

I've since come to the conclusion that:
1. You should only go in if you have about 2000HP. Even at Level 40, Archers and Magi can't seem to survive the massive blast attacks.
2. You need HEAPS of pots. (Or a very high-level group healer. We didn't manage to locate an Acolyte this time round.) 25 Greater Health pots for the encounter. Alphie counted. Those are stronger than the red Large Health Potions. And they don't guarantee you'll survive.
3. Go with a THIEF!!! Now we can see why we need someone with high Health points. We don't have any cos it's still locked.
OR
4. FORGET IT. (The Lavalon will probably be an OBT highlight. :P This is a sneak for you because we couldn't resist going in.)
Sadly, only Hysteria was "vet" enough to finish the dragon after Prince and I dropped like sad little flies. Alphie hung on right 'til the end, but died a second before the magma drake went down.
Last word of advise; Don't go with goofballs (below) unless you wanna die laughing.
Come on. We were all kitted to the max and the guy was holding a Froggie Crossbow??? (See far right of Picture 4).
Okay, okay... I died too.
Oh, ya. I think I GAVE him the Froggie Crossbow. Wahahahaha.

looking at your screenies,i noticed that exp is gained on a regular basis,does that mean that every hit counts as exp? or is it per kill?
Also,who is the bruce lee clone in one of the screenies?? like,how did he get there and wat does he do?

Yup, Level 40 is currently a tad too low, especially for the non-melee classes. Don't even think of soloing at this level!
Exp is gained through kills, but in a party, you gain a small portion of XP when a team-mate kills a monster. That's what you were seeing in the pics!
(You can choose whether to share loot evenly or open it up to free-grab mode as well.)

The Lavalon IS going to be in OBT, because there will definitely be higher-level characters around by then.
LOL, P.S. qwerty, that's one of the Summon Skills available to Warriors. He zips out in front of you and thwacks your opponent a mean one.

Hey, I DID hit the dragon. About a grand total of 2 times. Then I'm too busy trying to dodge and heal.
And just as I reach over to hit Print Screen, I'm dead. (Ok, I sux.)
I shall try again when the Thief is unlocked...
But yeah, Prince is a hoot. Half the time, you're just sitting there laughing at his expressions.

I can't wait to start playing and kill me some ebil dragons. Hopefully the server wont be too laggy for me since I am all the way over in the USA, cause I plan on being stupid and trying things like soloing bosses when they are released :P

Actually, if you look close, the magma drake has 30,000HP. Prince and I had about 1,300 or so at Lvl 40, and the 2 Warriors survived with over 2,000HP each. The bar looks like it's halved because it's like old-school arcade bosses. You finish the yellow bar, then you start on the blue bar, and then it's the purple bar, and finally, the red health bar before the dragon dies.
It's a war of attrition. Haha.
Hence the need for a real high-lvl Tank like a Thief, or a high-lvl Group Healer like an Acolyte to see if the life of the party can be extended. (That, or 40 was really too low...)

That's a Paladin (Warrior Class). I haven't checked out the skills and stats yet. Will update when I get hold of some screens.

oh and i have a question about combos..
uhm how long (time) until the combo wears off from ur last hit without hitting another monster...
For example// if i hit sum monster 3 times then for sum reason i decide not to attack for hmm.. lets say 5 seconds, wuld the combo still be active?
Was wondering if you can provide us the skills of the different classes? :D
