(Dragon on Dragon, above)I said Lavalon was going down. Mwahaha. This time, there were only 2 (Knight and Jester), and we know now that you don't need 2000HP if you've got a few devastating attack moves that don't take too long to load (the Magi can deal big damage but are a tad slower so you'll have to keep an eye on them), and get a feel of where and how you should move in the cavern. This means you'll likely make it on your 2nd try and on.
You should probably still have a few pots with you anyway.
While discussing tactics outside the portal, the adventurers suddenly noticed this solitary mage named VoyageX who refused to respond when spoken to.
(Mmm yesss, Dragonica is filled with weird folks.)

(We have no idea how many sessions he went up against Lavalon that day. He was porting in almost continually while everyone stood and stared.) But he's got the official "Most Hardcore" award for taking down the dragon at Lvl 36, solo, with about 1000HP, and almost no melee capabilities to speak of.
Must be his eye-catching "Buddhi"-powerup.

Ahh crap, someone beat me to be the first to solo that dragon, and he was a squishy class to boot! CURSES!
Oh well, maybe I can be the first to solo some other mean boss!
omg??? lvl 36?? thats siao(crazy)... he definetely deserves it..
what kind of server are you playing on?? i thought only the cms of IAH are playing on your server?? if thats true,how come you dont know this guy?
lvl 36 to kill lavalon?
he is good
@qwerty
Yep, we found out who he was the next day. You usually have to ask people for their identities because u can't tell from nicks (and he refused to respond in-game)>.<
@kaye
so it is all cms on your server....... does the game manager ever play??
Wow that is a very intense undertaking. SOloing a boss like that at lvl 36 seems to be almost impossably. Was this possible only because he is a knight? I dont believe a ranger could have soloed this at lvl 36 ^_^
by the way i applied to be a GM with iahgames ^_^ put in a good word!
zomg Raven is back again Xd
wht class was he kaye i neva rly got to know it and btw i m a bit confused with classes will u pweese explain it to me cuz i m a game wikipedia O.O
~Raven
Very impressive :) Wish I was there ><
I'm glad you got it this time, Kaye ^^. I will beat you someday. Do you mind PVPing sometime? XD
@Jesse, Good luck! o.o Make sure you remember it was me who said good luck to you and I will be your favorite player whom you give godly stuff to! :D
@Jesse
I second hachi's good luck
lol...
@post
thats crazy thoh.. lvl 36. soloing
wow. Ill try It..
When we all hit 40-50ish we shuld round up a party for this hehe.
i love when u persevere to strike back after loss ^^
@Jesse and Raven
VoyageX was a lvl36 Magician! Which was why I said he had little melee capabilities to speak of. If you recall, the very first time we went in, Prince (Archer) and I (Wizard/BattleMage) were lvl 40 had abt 1300HP apiece, but got pwned quickly cos we we had no idea how best to move about.
I guess Voyage's repeated rounds with Lavalon taught him exactly where to run, when to hit, how to avoid damage and launch his attacks!
P.S. Jesse, the GamesMasters are all in-house staff (physically present inside HQ) at the moment. Are you in Singapore or moving here?
@qwerty
Did you mean GamesMaster or Product Manager?
@hachi and kurosu
LOL of COURSE I was going back! The Mantra is: "Permission to Fail; Permission to Try Again"!
@kaye
yes,the project manager... cause he has to "eat,sleep and breathe the game"... lol
@jesse
good luck to you... but you have to be in singapore to apply for a game master,dbut i think you read the requirements right??
i wanna be a game master too... but my o'levels are next year.. sian...
@endler
i just checked.... turns out that ther will only be one big boss in cb... so we cant get the next big boss yet... who will be in ob..
@jesse
seems like you are out of luck,you are in US according to your profile... unless you placed the wrong data in..

@qwerty
LOL I guess my question was kinda redundant.
The Product Manager is ALWAYS playing the game he/she manages. They have to know all the product features to best shape the business plan, decide on target audience and game-positioning, structure a rollout time-line based on business evaluation, as well as put up with the pain of arguing/bargaining with demanding CMs (we're supposed to fight for the gamers, no? ;P). And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Yep, the PM doesn't get much sleep.
If that is the final boss and it takes only a few tries to solo it then the game going to be pvp based than raid base.
I dont take away his credit for soloing but in some game I played be4 everyone has to be in dodging mode and the raid isnt exactly easy to be begin with.
I agree with "snuggle," for the most part. Raids shouldn't be to easy, specially for someone to solo it. It might be possbile, just not so in such a short time-span.
And a few questions, mostly about endgame.
Is Dragonica's endgame PvP focused? or PvE? Is equipment specially designed for either PvP or PvE? etc. etc.
